Long-stay apartment choice
Long-Stay Apartments Near Bakirkoy Hospitals: Which Type Fits?
If your treatment stretches over several weeks or months, the number of people in your party decides the apartment: Studio apartment (1+0) for a single companion, One-bedroom apartment (1+1) for a patient and one or two relatives, and Two-bedroom apartment (2+1) for a larger family taking turns to provide care. All three have their own kitchen, so daily life stays close to a normal home routine.
All are in our building with an elevator and security cameras in Zeytinlik, Bakırköy: Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital is a 15-minute walk, and Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital is a 22-minute walk.

How does a kitchen change a long stay?
Eating out is practical for a few days; over weeks, your own kitchen saves both time and budget. With a kitchen apartment:
- You can prepare breakfast and dinner at your own times.
- If your doctor has recommended a specific diet, it is easier to cook meals that fit it.
- You can prepare food and drinks for a day at the hospital. Check with the hospital whether outside food is allowed.
- If family members come in turns, a shared kitchen makes it easier for everyone to follow the same routine.
Studio apartment (1+0): for a single companion
Studio apartment (1+0) has the bed and living area in one room, plus a kitchen and private bathroom; it suits 1–2 people. It is enough for a companion staying alone or for a patient and spouse coming for check-ups. It is easy to tidy and keep in order, making it a practical base for someone going back and forth to the hospital.
One-bedroom apartment (1+1): for a patient and a relative
One-bedroom apartment (1+1) has a separate bedroom, living room and kitchen, and suits 2–3 people. This difference matters on a long stay: while the patient rests in the bedroom, the relative can take a phone call in the living room, work on a laptop or prepare a meal. For those working remotely while providing care, free Wi-Fi and a separate living room mean a workspace away from the bedroom.
Two-bedroom apartment (2+1): for larger families
Two-bedroom apartment (2+1) has two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, and suits 4–5 people. It works for a mother, father and siblings coming for a child's treatment, or for an extended family taking turns to stay with the patient: the person who spends the night at the hospital can sleep in one bedroom while the others keep the daily routine going.
Why does an elevator matter on a long stay?
During weeks of treatment, you walk the same route many times: to the hospital, back, and to the supermarket. Our building has an elevator, so you can reach the floors with water, shopping bags or a hospital bag without dealing with stairs. On treatment days, a patient who is tired or has difficulty walking feels this convenience every day. The building also has security cameras, a reassuring detail for late-night returns.

If you are staying for several weeks, doing a basic grocery shop on the first day makes the following days easier. The apartments are cleaned regularly; you can ask at check-in when cleaning takes place. Tell us about long-stay needs such as laundry when you book.
If your dates extend or the number of guests changes
In long treatments, the end date is often not clear at the start. Extensions depend on availability; if it looks likely that you will need more time, telling us a few days in advance makes it easier. If family members will come in turns and the number of guests will change, we can also discuss moving to another apartment type depending on availability. If you know from the start that treatment will last for weeks, reserving the right apartment from day one saves you the trouble of packing up again.
Cancellation and change conditions are given to you in writing at booking. You can pay in cash, by bank transfer or by credit card on site; for a long stay, discuss the payment schedule at booking.
